Common Questions

Do I need insurance? +

No. These are cash-pay programs. You pay the provider directly each month. Most insurance does not cover compounded GLP-1s anyway.

Is this legal? +

The providers we recommend operate through licensed telehealth platforms and partner with state-licensed pharmacies. Compounded medications are legal under FDA compounding regulations (503A and 503B). Regulatory specifics change — providers stay current on these rules so you don't have to.

What if I'm not approved? +

Each provider has clinical eligibility criteria. If you're not approved, you typically aren't charged. Some providers will offer alternatives (oral medications, lifestyle programs).

Can I cancel anytime? +

Yes. Each provider has its own cancellation policy — most allow cancellation between shipments. Read the terms before signing up.

Compounded vs. brand-name (Wegovy / Ozempic)? +

Compounded medications are made by licensed pharmacies and are NOT FDA-approved products. They are not equivalent to brand-name drugs. Some people choose them for cost reasons; others prefer the brand-name versions for FDA oversight. Talk to the provider about both options.
